What people make with Minecraft lettering
Minecraft lettering is wanted for server banners, gamer tags, birthday cakes and video thumbnails. Press Start 2P and Public Pixel are heavy enough for a Minecraft title; Monocraft and Pixelify Sans keep longer lines readable. Silkscreen at weight 700 sets capitals only, so a Minecraft gamer tag in it reads in block letters.
Is the Minecraft lettering a font?
The Minecraft lettering, in a line: its own pixel font and logo.

Trademark
Free fonts, yes; the Minecraft name and logo, no: a gamer tag, a server name or a birthday banner for yourself is fine, merchandise needs the owner’s permission.
